in order to be irreplaceable,
ONE MUST ALWAYS BE DIFFERENT
– Coco Chanel
Your photo session with me begins well before you step in front of my lens. It’s my goal to provide with you with incredible art, wrapped in a memorable experience you will love. Getting to know one another a little bit before we start taking photos helps you become more comfortable in front of the camera, and helps me capture your authentic self. Here in Atlanta, photography sessions can happen at a location you love, or we can do a session in my studio space.
Included in every session is a pre-session consultation. Through every step of the process, I’ll be your guide, ensuring that all of the details – from wardrobe to poses – are thoughtfully considered. As a full-service photographer in Atlanta, I only work with a select number of clients each year so that I can continuously provide a high-touch experience for each and every person who chooses to have their session with me.
My sessions include complimentary hair and makeup services from one of the talented artists within my network. Session fees begin at $200 and include the in-person consultation, our time together, and hand-retouching of all the images you decide to purchase during our image viewing and ordering session.
As a portrait photographer, one of the best feelings in the world comes from watching one of my clients hold their new photographs in their hands. I don’t think I could ever tire of watching those emotions wash over their faces. In the business of photography, quality and attention to detail matters. As such, I work closely with several select professional labs to ensure my clients receive only the best.
Hahnemühle paper has been in business for 425 years, producing the finest photo papers available to professional photographers today. I am pleased to print your photographs on their exquisite, 100% cotton papers. The ink used for your heirloom images has a lightfastedness rating of 108-200 years, ensuring that your images will be around for centuries. As well, each giclée print is cured for 24 hours before being hand cut, and then treated with Hahnemühle’s Protective Spray to help guard against UV exposure, dirt, fingerprints, and moisture. Simply, the quality is unrivaled.
In addition to printed photographs and matted folio boxes, I also offer framing services, hand-crafted albums, and wall art, including gallery wraps and hand-stretched canvas options. For senior portraits, I also offer graduation announcements, as well.
Every image you purchase comes with a digital copy.
HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?
My session fee depends on how much time you’d like to spend together. Sessions begin at $200 and include complimentary hair and makeup services.
Outside of the session fee, the total investment in your photographs is entirely up to you. You buy only what you love. I offer collections and a la carte pricing and do not have any minimum order requirements. My gift prints start at $100, my wall art, including gallery wraps and canvases, begin at $150, and my hand-crafted albums start at $1000.
Every image you purchase comes with a digital copy for you to keep.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE SESSION FEE?
WHAT HAPPENS AT THE PRE-SESSION CONSULTATION?
Whenever possible, it’s best if we meet in person before we do our photo shoot together. If that isn’t an option, we can do it over the phone or via FaceTime/Skype instead. Either way, there are a few goals for the session: getting to know one another better (that makes it less awkward when you see the camera!), do a wardrobe check (making sure it will photograph well!), and answering any other questions you may have. If you have added hair and/or makeup services to your booking, we’ll try to discuss those services and pin down your inspiration for our time together, too.
While you are always welcome to reach out to me if you have any questions about your photo session, the pre-session consult time will help you clear your head of anything logistics-related so you can focus on have a great time.
ARE PARENTS and/or FRIENDS ALLOWED TO ATTEND MY SESSION?
Absolutely! If you are comfortable, I am comfortable. That said, just make sure that whomever joins you for the session is there to support you, not distract you. I do ask that people refrain from taking their own photos during our session (that’s what you’re paying me for!) so that we’re collectively focused on the best possible experience and outcomes for you.
If one of your goals is to get some group portraits with your best friends, ask me about my group session options.
HOW ARE YOUR PRINTS BETTER THAN ORDERING ONLINE?
I put a lot of effort into identifying the professional photo labs that offer my clients amazing products that are designed to last a lifetime. One of the biggest reasons I choose to use these labs is their commitment to me, as a professional, which results in a commitment to my clients. I am color calibrated with those labs, which means your prints come back looking exactly as they should, and I guarantee that.
Consumer labs like the local drug store or online options often add filtering and sharpening that isn’t consistent and almost always results in colors that are off, strange pixelation, or other issues. In addition, my prints are printed on only the highest quality materials using premium inks that are designed to withstand the test of time.
