I Wake Early
"Watch, now, how I start the day
in happiness, in kindness."
Mary Oliver, a constant muse in my own work, ends her poem "Why I Wake Early" with that deceptively simple call-to-action. It's a line that rolls through my quiet mind every time Mother Nature has blessed me with an early morning fireworks display like this one, with a coastal brown bear taking advantage of a massive tide and digging for razor clams on her morning walk.
Available in three finished sizes, each photo uses the Silver Halide print process on 163# archival photo paper and arrives inside a museum-grade white mat ready to frame.
