So opens one of my favorite melodies from my own coming of age soundtrack. Almost a decade after hearing that song for the first time, I photographed the band who wrote that song while they toured the United States. 

Seeing the beautiful red fox in the snow just outside of Yellowstone brought back so many memories of that time in my life, so many of which shaped me and my approach to my art today.
